數學科小一銜接課程：數學冒險島體驗學習

Primary One Mathematics Bridging Course: Math Adventure Island Experiential Learning

為協助學生平穩渡過幼小銜接，數學科特別設計體驗式適應課程「數學冒險島」，全方位配合小一新生的身心成長與學習需要。課程融入手作、遊戲闖關、唱遊律動與情境角色扮演等多元元素，讓學生穿戴冒險家道具沉浸於數學探險中。在過程中，學生重溫 1 至 10 的數數、掌握 10 的合十組合並區分單雙數，同時認識基本平面與立體圖形（如正方形、三角形、角錐、角柱等），並運用七巧板與實物進行拼砌，更學會辨識及讀出「時正」與「時半」的基礎報時技能。學生動手完成專屬的幾何拼砌或時鐘手作成品，加深對數學概念的認識。

To help students smoothly transition from kindergarten to primary school, the Mathematics Department has specially designed an experiential adaptation course called "Math Adventure Island," fully catering to the physical, mental, and learning needs of new Primary One students. The course incorporates various elements such as hands-on activities, game challenges, music and movement, and role-playing scenarios, allowing students to immerse themselves in math adventures while wearing explorer gear. During the process, students review counting from 1 to 10, master combinations that make 10, distinguish between odd and even numbers, and get to know basic 2D and 3D shapes (like squares, triangles, pyramids, and prisms). They also use tangrams and real objects for building, and learn basic time-reading skills by recognizing and telling "o'clock" and "half-past" times. Students complete their own geometric constructions or handmade clocks, deepening their understanding of mathematical concepts.
